Established in 1991, Black Creek Quail Farm is owned and operated by Lance & Sheri Foster.
Our mission is to produce bob white quail for release that replicates the natural behavior and flight performance of native wild quail.
Over the years, through relentless experimentation, study of handling methods, and personal creativity, our dedication has allowed us to grow genetically superior quail.
Through our experience, we have custom designed our new facility to provide the best environment to grow birds under total isolation. We provide extremely specialized conditions that allow our birds to be highly adaptable when released into the wild. The breeding and rearing methodologies that we employ ensure that our birds will survive and thrive when released into a natural environment. To our knowledge, there is no other facility in the country that is technologically advanced and specialized as ours for growing bob white quail.
Black Creek Quail Farm is challenging the myth that birds grown in captivity and released into the wild will not survive and thrive. Over the past few years, we have experimented with banding and tracking our early release birds to show that they will join wild coveys, nest, and raise their young in the wild. We have had positive results from this and are currently in the process of completing documented case studies.
Black Creek Quail Farm has taken the process of growing bob white quail to the next level. We produce physically superior quail to that of our competitors. Our commitment to our customers is to provide birds that will give a hunting experience where experienced native wild bird hunters can not determine the difference between our early release birds that have matured in the wild and true wild birds.
